This is a very simple application to retrieve cache files from internet explorer data. It uses command line to execute so no installation is required to run the program. It may not be the software for you if you are unfamiliar with ms-dos command lines.

To start the program:

1) Run command prompt by going to start > run and type “Cmd”

2) Go into the folder where IECacheList was found and press enter (use CD command). Command line will switch to the specified folder.

3) Type in “IECacheList.exe” and press enter to run the application.

4) IECacheList will start the running process. Wait for it to finish and save the result in a text file by typing “ iecachelist -history > history.txt” where history.txt is the filename of the saved results and press enter. The file is saved under the folder specified earlier in the command line.
